Telecom Commission is likely to take up TRAI’s recommendations

The Telecom Commission, in its next meeting, is likely to take up TRAI’s recommendations on net neutrality and allocation of spectrum in the E- and V- bands that would underpin 5G roll-outs. Further, TRAI’s recommendations allowing airlines to offer in-flight connectivity are expected to be presented before the commission, but not before two months as the departments of space and civil aviation will need time to issue the final guidelines.
